Hey there. I'm Zoe Kida 木田 添恵, a human-centered designer living in Tokyo and working for myself as a Product Designer.

I have 8 years of experience working in entertainment, education, and digital design agencies. I’ve worked with massive e-commerce brands as well as startups which have given me an understanding of how both large and small-scale design processes can benefit each other.

As a designer I am passionate about human-centered design, design systems, and accessibility, I bring a focus on technology to my design thinking. My approach is rooted in big-picture strategy, design thinking, and scalable solutions. I embrace flexibility, empathy, and the ability to navigate when and how to push boundaries. Incorporating these values allows me to create optimal experiences while finding enjoyment and fulfillment in my work. In recent years, my focus has been on designing mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms, as well as developing responsive web and mobile experiences.

As a teammate, I am flexible, easy to work alongside, a proponent of action, and passionate about the small details that make excellent designs stand out.

A Venezuelan kid at heart, I moved to the US and spent a big part of my formative years in Ohio and currently live in Los Angeles. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and pets, traveling, cooking, or exploring the LA food scene with my friends.
